PURPOSE:To revise a presentation state of a tabulated result at a high speed by eliminating the need for retrial of totalization processing when the presentation state of the tabulated row is revised. CONSTITUTION:A temporary file 4b generated for display output rearranges records in a set order and a record storing the result of totalization is stored at the end of each block of records. Class information 51 indicates a class of a record in the temporary file 4b. For example, a record whose class information 51 indicates 'R' stores record data by one record stored in a database and a record whose class information is '1' or '2' storage totalization result of 1st and 2nd level respectively. The stored sequence of each record in the temporary file 4b indicates the sequence at the tine of output and the record is extracted and displayed by designating the class information of the record to be displayed.
