The invention relates to an articulated vehicle with a device for damping oscillations, consisting of a traction vehicle, usually a passenger car, which is releasably connected to the towbar of a trailer by means of a hitch. In order to prevent oscillations of the trailer about the vertical axis, two devices which can be realised alternatively are proposed, one of which devices recommends that one cylinder should be connected in a crisscross fashion and the other of which devices recommends that two cylinders should be connected together to a compensation vessel. <IMAGE>
