An inverted shuttle valve which is simple and inexpensive to produce is described which has a one-piece housing (1) and a body (2) displaceably accommodated in the housing. The body (2) is formed from two valve bodies (3, 4) which can be joined together and, in each case giving way to the higher pressure applied, closes the passage of this pressure to an outlet (12) provided centrally in the housing. To assemble the valve, in each case a valve body (3, 4) is pushed into each of the two inlet openings (11a, 11c) of the housing, and the valve bodies are connected to one another via a connecting section (5) such as, for example, a press fit. <IMAGE>
