PURPOSE:To provide a carpet which is durable and on which slippage can hardly occur during use without giving sweaty and sticky feeling. CONSTITUTION:A carpet cloth material 16 is applied over its back surface with nonwoven fabric so as to finish up a slip preventing carpet 19. The nonwoven fabric is composed of thermofusible fibers 11 and nonthermofusible fibers 12, and is thermally set at one side surface thereof so as to form a smooth surface 13 and at the other side surface is not thermally set so as to have a fuzzy surface. The nonwoven fabric 15 is faced to the back side of the carpet cloth material 16, and is bonded thereto by means of an adhesive 17. The smooth surface 13 is coated thereover with a slip preventing coating 18 having a film thickness with a frictional coefficient greater than that of the coated film with the adhesive 17. |
