Applicator device for positioning a contact lens on the human eye

An applicator arrangement has a base with a handling part and a bearing part and comprises an applicator which is mounted movably on or connected movably to the base and can be positioned selectively between an operating position which extends outwards and in which the lens is transferred to the eyeball and a storing or supply position in which the contact lens is removably attached to the applicator and is also in a position to have the inner surface properly cleaned directly before being positioned for application to the eyeball. A container is also provided for storing the arrangement, in which container the lid part is an ocular with a magnifying lens for viewing the contact lens properly when it is mounted on the present applicator device for proper orientation of the lens directly before placing it on the eyeball.
