PURPOSE: To reduce electromagnetic interferences and a bus voltage ripple by short-circuiting one element of a voltage divider by operating a corresponding short-circuit switch, if one converter becomes out of order, and redistributing a phase increment. CONSTITUTION: If one of power converters 24a to 24n becomes out of order, it is handled off-line, and the corresponding short-circuit switch is operated to short-circuit and disconnect an element of the voltage divider, and also redistribute a phase increment. Consequently, the remaining converters 24a to 24n continue to be synchronized at 360 deg./N (N: number of converters which are driven), but in this case N is a small number. Namely, when more than one converter turns off and an NOGO signal is generated, the remaining converters are adjusted so that they are actuated mutually at approximately 360 deg./N. Consequently, electromagnetic interferences and voltage ripples of a bus 20 can be reduced. |
