PURPOSE:To provide a bulb socket and establish a manufacturing method for it, which permits avoidance of various inconveniences encountered when a complicated terminal is to be inser molded and which can meet the respective characteristics required of different parts of each terminal. CONSTITUTION:The body 11 of a housing is made of plastic and has a socket housing 12, into which the base part of a bulb is inserted, and a connector housing 13 where a connector for current feed is inserted. A connector side terminal 20 assumes an L-form as a whole and has a tab 21 and an interconnection tab part 22 in continuity while bent at a right angle from the tab 21. A bulb side terminal 30 is installed as confronting the angle part in the socket housing 12, has functions of holding the base part 3 of the bulb mechanically and touch its lead electrically, and is provided with an interconnection terminal part 36 at the bottom so that it can be connected when pressure fitted from above to the interconnection tab part 22. |
