The method for preparing the mormal operation of the boiler when the gas-fired boiler is primarily started, enables the boiler to perform water circulation in the pipeline and air discharging. The method comprises the steps of: displaying the pilot-operation by a switch, converting the three-way valve (5) to hot-water path mode, and filling the water tank (7); circulating the water in the pipeline by a pump (16), discharging air by a fan (2), when the tank (7) is filled, and monitoring the level of the tank; judging the continuation of the pilot-operation; judging on/off state of the operating switch; operating the boiler when the operating switch is on-state.
