An absorbent article such as a nappy/diaper includes fastening means 38 for joining mutually opposing front and rear side parts. The fastener comprises two coacting first and second fastener elements 39, 40. The first element 39 includes a projecting portion including locking hooks 46, 47 which is insertable into an insertion opening 45 in the second fastener element 40. The hooks engage with locking apertures 44 in walls 42, 43, and two folds 48, 49 ease insertion. |
