PURPOSE:To provide a recorder constituted so that the variation of normal time, due to switching between summer time and normal time, has no effect on the recording operation of reserved event, for example. CONSTITUTION:The recorder is provided with a cable box 1 for receiving/ selecting CATV signals, and a VCR(Video Cassette Recorder) 2 having a timer image reserving function. A video decoder 21 extracts VBI(Vertical Blanking ID) data from the output video signal of a tuner 20 and subjects the VBI data to decoding before being fed to a microcomputor 22. When a switching between summer time and normal time is detected based on information transmitted as a VBI data, time of internal clock or a reserved event is corrected. This constitution allows recording of reserved event to be performed without causing any trouble on the recording operation of reserved event with reference to the time of internal clock even upon switch between summer time and normal time. |
