PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a dental suction instrument.SOLUTION: A suction syringe 100 includes: a tubular tip cover part 270 that includes a tubular member 300 fitted thereto for sucking waste fluid generated by medical examination, and a press button 273a being pressed so as to electrically switch over between sucking or not sucking; and a tubular body part that has one end connected to the tip cover part 270 and the other end connected to a hose 400 for collecting the waste fluid.
