PURPOSE:To provide reflection structure with a wide visual angle for a reflection type display device. CONSTITUTION:A lens array 20 is arranged on the surface of the reflection type display device. Furthermore, an active element and a color filter are arranged there. Then, visual angle characteristic is drastically improved in comparison with a conventional scattering type display device. Thus, bright display with the wide visual angle equal to a copy can be realized. Reflection type color display can be realized. By using this display device, a portable information equipment whose power consumption is low and which is easy to view can be produced. Furthermore, this display device can be used as a display for CAD and a field advertisement board. |
