PURPOSE:To attain the high speed of a response, and simultaneously, to improve the reliability of information recording by executing recording based on write- back using a cache memory in an information recording/reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:In the case that the recording based on the write-back is designated by a flag 112, the setting of the maximum value of the number of times of the execution of alternate processing is changed automatically to a designated value at the time of the write-back, and further, display to show that the write- back is being selected is outputted to a recording operation display device 12. At the time of recording by the write-back, the flag 113 to inhibit the write-back is set in accordance with the degree of the generation of alternation and the state of an alternate area, and it becomes a standard to inhibit the subsequent write-back, and thus, the reliability of recorded information can be made preferential. |
