PURPOSE:To obtain a new image forming device for a confidential document capable of scrambling a confidential part in a partially secret confindential document, simply outputting a copy of the document and, as necessary, restoring and copying the scrambled image from the copied image. CONSTITUTION:A required confidential part in an original is specified by a confidential part specifying means 31, the image of the specified confidential part out of a confidential document image read out by an image reading means 12 is scrambled by a scrambling means 42, the address of the confidential part is coded by an address information recording means 41, and the code is added to a prescribed position of a copied image to record it. When the coded address exists on the copied original, the image of the original part corresponding to the address is restored by a reverse scrambling means 43, the restored confidential part is recorded as a copied image, and at the time of inputting prescribed information, the locked state of the reverse scrambling means is unlocked by a reverse scambling means control means. |
