<p>PURPOSE:To provide a transformer whose output is stable so as not to cause a flicker on the screen of a cathode-ray tube being operated. CONSTITUTION:A transformer is provided with a square-shaped core formed by bonding one pair of nearly U-shaped cores 5a, 5b and with at least a primary winding 3, a secondary winding 6, a base winding 4 and a tertiary winding 7 which are wound on the cores 5a, 5b, and the primary winding 3 and the base winding 4 are connected electrically via a switching element 2. In the transformer, the primary winding 3 and the secondary winding 6 are arranged on the side of one bonding part of the cores 5a, 5b, and the base winding 4 and the tertiary winding 7 are arranged on the side of the other bonding part of the cores 5a, 5b.</p> |
