The clay and white clay were pulverized separately with ball mill by the half-dry method. The clay and the white clay powder were mixed at the volume ratio of 1:1 and the mixture was mixed again with water at the volume ratio of 1:1 to give a raw material of glaze. The ash of pasture such as pine tree or oak tree was mixed with water at the volume ratio of 1:2 and maintained for 24 hrs and press filtrated to obtain the natural lye. The turbid solution of clay and white clay was mixed with natural lye at the ratio of 1:1 to give suspension sulution, which was used for the leadless glaze for pottery.
