PURPOSE:To provide a method for enhancing an operating efficiency significantly by curtailing manhours, and at the same time, for stripping foreign matter sticking to the interior of a piping of a simple device and a device using this method. CONSTITUTION:This stripping device 14 is composed of an air vibrator 32 and a weight member 38 which are supported by both ends of a vibration transmission arm 30, respectively, and are arranged at two positions apart almost 90 deg. on the circumference of the piping 10. If a fixing device 20 for supporting the center of the vibration transmission arm 30 is fixed to the circumference of the piping 10 and the air vibrator 32 is vibrated, the vibration of the air vibrator 32 is transmitted to the weight member 38 through the vibration transmission arm 30. Further, the vibration is concurrently transmitted to the two positions apart almost 90 deg. on the circumference of the piping 10. Concurrently, it is possible to generate an almost uniform vibration acceleration on the entire circumference of the piping 10. Therefore, foreign matter sticking to the interior of the piping 10 can be separated by a single vibration action by fixing the stripping device 14 to one position on the circumference of the pipe 10. |
