PURPOSE:To improve the impact resistance and medicine resistance by fitting a blood filtering material in a flexible housing, and welding the periphery section of the housing. CONSTITUTION:A blood filtering material is charged in a flexible housing 2 to form a white blood cell removing filter 1, and fibers, a nonwoven fabric, or a porous body is used for the blood filtering material, for example. A flexible synthetic resin having the thermal and electrical natures similar to those of the blood filtering material is preferably used for the housing 2. The housing 2 is welded via the external heat welding by heat sealing or via the internal welding by a high-frequency welder or an ultrasonic welder. The blood filtering material and the housing 2 are concurrently welded, or the cape of the periphery section of the laminated blood filtering material is welded, then it may be welded to the housing 2. A hard synthetic resin is injection-molded and extrusion-molded to form a blood inflow port 8 and a blood outflow port, they are pinched between two flexible sheets constituting the housing 2, then they are fitted to the housing 2 when the flexible sheets are welded. |
