PURPOSE:To protect an exhaust gas sampling tube and easily connect the exhaust gas sampling tube to an exhaust gas analyzer. CONSTITUTION:A bearing surface 671 facing obliquely upward is formed on an exhaust pipe 67 fixed to the underside of a cylinder head 2, and the opening end of a straight tubular exhaust gas sampling tube 42 screwed in the bearing surface 671 is blockaded with a detachable cap 43. The exhaust gas sampling tube 42 and the cap 43 are arranged in the inner space of an engine cover 16 and a case 61, and protected from sticking of sea water or contact with another object. Further because the exhaust gas sampling tube 42 is provided facing obliquely upward, the distance between the opening end of the exhaust gas sampling tube 42 and the inner face of the case 61 is insured, so as to easily perform connecting operation with the exhaust gas analyzer. |
