PURPOSE:To improve inserting by providing a thin plate folded back toward the inside further rearward, positioning partly in this part an arc-shaped folded part of air elastic contact piece, and forming the point end part in non-sharpness, in the thin plate part formed in the point end of a female type electric contact part. CONSTITUTION:A female type terminal metal fixture A is integrally formed by working a sheet of metal plate material, to provide a female type electric contact part A1 and an electric wire connecting part A2. In the contact part A1, a folded back elastic contact plate 2 is provided in a substrate part 1 through an arc-shaped folded part 2a in the point end, to also erect both side plate parts 3, 4, and roof parts 3a, 4a bent to the inside are successively provided in line with the side plate parts 3, 4, to overlap the roof part 4a on the roof part 3a. A notched part 4a1 is formed in a front end part of the roof part 4a, and a swollen plate part 3a1 is formed in a point end part of the roof part 3a, to place the plate part 3a1 and the roof part 4a in a flush condition. Both the side plate parts 3, 4, roof part 4a and the plate part 3a1 are formed to be protruded to the front from a point end of the substrate part 1, that is, the folded part 2a. A plate thickness of these protruding parts is formed as almost 1/2 thin plate part X, and a folded back thin plate part X2 is provided through an arc-shaped folded part X1. |
