PURPOSE:To surely detect focusing even at the time of panoramic photographing by detecting the focusing in an overlapped area among areas respectively image picked-up by two video camera parts when the optical axes of first and second video camera parts are not crossed in front of the device. CONSTITUTION:At the time of panoramic photographing, two cameras are set so as to be rotated symmetrically to the perpendicular bisector of a line connecting the rotary centers of two cameras. The figure shows the area of the right video camera part overlapped with the left video camera part. In this case, it can be changed on four stages from type I to type IV. At such a time, concerning the relation between a focus area and the overlapped area, the focus area is surely set inside the overlapped area like types I and II are respectively focus areas 95 and 96. By the way, when a distance to an object is enough long in comparison with a camera interval, the relation is decided by a zoom magnification and a camera angle regardless of the object distance. |
