PURPOSE:To provide an induction motor controller which can drive an induction motor with the maximum efficiency in both transition and steady state and at the same time achieves an arbitrary torque response, and has a simple configuration. CONSTITUTION:In addition to vector control operation parts (13-17), a target torque calculating part 11 for calculating a target torque Tm for a torque command value T ' given externally and an optimum slip frequency operation part 12 for calculating an optimum slip frequency omegase for driving an induction motor for the target torque are provided, thus calculating an excitation current command value iphi and a torque current command value iT according to the vector control rule from the target torque Tm and the optimum slip frequency omegase. |
