PURPOSE:To provide a PDP driving circuit by adding weight multi-valued errors of the peripheral pixels to an output objective pixel and making a gradation error between an input signal and a light emission luminance minimum with a simple circuit constitution. CONSTITUTION:A vertical direction adding circuit 31 is inserted forward a horizontal direction adding circuit 32, and an error detection circuit 35 outputting an error weight for necessarily weighting is inserted into a preceding stage of an h line delay circuit 36 and a (d) dot delay circuit 37, and a diffused output signal integrating the error and diffusing it is obtained, and a bit conversion circuit 33 converting it to (m) bits less than (n) bits is inserted into the output side of the diffused output signal quantized with the (n) bits. In such a manner, a smooth response is obtained by the signal with the number of bits less than an original video input signal without lowering the light emission luminance. |
