PURPOSE:To display the section of the three-dimensional body, consisting of polygon models by computer graphics, in a short time. CONSTITUTION:A plane 2 which can optionally be changed in position and attitude is moved to a specific position and after coordinate conversion is so performed that the Z axes of the plane 2 and the three-dimensional body 1 are in specific directions respectively, polygon vertexes which are at distances less than tolerance epsilon from the plane 2 are extracted from all the polygon vertexes and positively projected on the plane 2, thereby displaying the section by dot drawing by using the positively projected points. |
