A method of gift wrapping a box is described. Firstly, wrap the box in a generally rectangular piece of washable hemmed fabric and glue the fabric to itself to form a tight fitting sleeve around the box. Secondly, secure opposed ends of the sleeve by gluing the fabric to itself. The described method is particularly suitable for recycling of gift wrap materials.
