The container and support for electronic components comprises a housing, and an elastomeric grommet positioned within the housing. A base is provided upon which electronic components are mounted, a portion of the base being secured to the elastomeric grommet. The elastomeric grommet has a first groove defined in the peripheral edge. The portion of the base is positionable within the first groove of the elastomeric grommet. The housing comprises a first housing portion having a first support and a second housing portion having a second support. The elastomeric grommet has a second groove defined in a first side. A distal end of the first support is positionable within the second groove. A third groove is defined in a second side. A distal end of the second support is positionable within the third groove.
