PURPOSE:To recognize newest information to be received at all times even when the user cannot observe the display device of the receiver by providing a function sensing a character or a numeral in terms of body language to a radio individual selective call receiver having a character numeral information display function. CONSTITUTION:The user puts in the receiver at a location in contact with its body such as in a pocket of a breast. On the other hand, a person desiring to deliver character numeral information to the user inputs character numeral information from a general public telephone line or the like to apply call. Then the receiver receives the character numeral information and displays it on a display device 13. In this case, the signal is converted into a code for body sense display for each character based on a predetermined rule and a vibrator unit 16 is vibrated. Thus, the user can feel and recognize the character number information to be received by its body directly. |
