The invention relates to an optical sensor for measuring the concentration of metal ions, preferably zinc(II) ions, the sensor containing calcein which has been bonded to a matrix, and thus immobilised, by a chemical reaction. The object of the invention is to propose a sensor of this type which is reversible and whose matrix is more chemically resistant than the known matrix of cellulose. This object is achieved by providing, as the matrix, a glass having a porous surface structure. The invention furthermore relates to processes for the production of the sensor and to the aminocalcein intermediate. |
