DEVICE FOR FORMING IN SPIRAL WOUND GASKET

The apparatus directly winds a hoop and a filler round various types of inner wheels so that it can easily manufacture special types of gaskets by using a ring or inner wheel type dies, not heavy and cylindrical dies. The apparatus comprises a hoop (1) and a filler (2) of a material; forming rollers (3,4) forming a V type or W type grooves pattern on the flat material to form another hoops and filler (6); on inner wheel (9) inserted into between a winding roller (7) and a compression roller (8); the other hoop (5) and filler(6) directly wounded round the circumference of the inner wheel by the rotary force of the winding roller (7) and the pressing force of the compression roller (8).
