[Class 78 (i)] A belt conveyer for use in a screen printing machine comprises two or more flexible steel bands 15, a series of narrow rigid transverse slats 16 riveted to the bands, and an outer covering 18 of rubber bonded to the slats. The thin outer surface layer of the covering is of harder or denser non-porous rubber and may be treated with a pressure sensitive adhesive such as beeswax. The relatively soft underpart of the covering may be reinforced by woven fabric or wire. The upper run of the belt is supported by a table 2 provided with guides 19. The driving drum 13 is provided with two rows of teeth 20 which engage between the slats. |
