SERVICE AREA DISPLAY PROCESSING METHOD AND DISPLAY PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To provide a service area display processing method and a display processor for displaying a service area at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A means 3 for calculating shortest distances between a base station (starting point) and respective buildings and storing them in a buffer 10, the means 8 for setting the detection path of a length equivalent to sight maximum propagation distance from the starting point to the direction of bearing angle 6 and the means 7 for detecting an intersection point where the detection path and the building cross each other are provided. A service area display means 6 folds back the detection path from the intersection point to a normal reflection direction and displays a reception area on a route connecting the starting point and the intersection point as the service area when the detection path crosses with the building. On the other hand, when the detection path crosses with the building and is considered as out-of-sight propagation, the detection path is folded back from the intersection point to the normal reflection direction and the reception area on the route is displayed as the service area of the out-of-sight propagation.
