摘要 |
PURPOSE:To allow the equipment to flexibly cope with fluctuation in a traffic distribution between beams by executing scan control in which plural beams are simultaneously overlapped to a service area having many traffic requests. CONSTITUTION:An antenna of an earth station 10 and a reception antenna 21 of a radio station are connected via a feeder link 11 and a received signal is divided into plural unit frequency bands at a narrow band filter band 23b via a reception section 22. A signal of each unit frequency band is converted into a transmission frequency by a frequency conversion section 24, a beam is formed for each frequency band by a multi-beam generating circuit 29 and transmitted to a transmission antenna 26b. Then the number of beams emitted from the transmission antenna 26b is increased more than the number of service areas 13 and each beam is independently scanned. Furthermore, plural beams generated by the multi-beam generating circuit 29 are emitted to each service area 13. Thus, the combination of overlapped beams is changed depending on the traffic.
