PARALLEL COMPUTER PROVIDED WITH GLOBAL ARITHMETIC FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To decrease idle time in the case of global arithmetic. CONSTITUTION:The parallel computer adopting configuration to execute the global arithmetic through a global arithmetic means 10 expanded at a present processor element is provided with an interruption executing means 11 for executing the alternate processing of the global arithmetic means 10 or executing preparation processing for the global arithmetic means 10 by being started when receiving global arithmetic target data sent from the other processor element and when the global arithmetic means 10 is not set in the state of providing the global arithmetic target data to be a transmission target when requesting the execution of global arithmetic, processing is finished as it is or when the means 10 is set in the state of providing the data according to the preparation processing on the other hand, processing is executed by using the global arithmetic target data provided by the preparation processing.
