<p>PURPOSE:To obtain such as electrophotographic toner that an enough offset-free temp. range is maintained, fixing can be done at low fixing temp., and excellent fixing strength to a transfer paper is obtd. by incorporating alkyl phosphates. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic toner contains alkyl phosphates having low melting point so that the initiation temp. of melting of the toner decreases so that low temp. when used with the binder resin as the main component fixing property is improved. As for the alkyl phosphate, it is favorable that both monoalkyl phosphate expressed by formula I and dialkyl phosphate expressed by formula II are contained. The amt. of alkyl phosphate in the toner is preferably 0.5-20wt.% of the resin component comprising the alkyl phosphate and binder resin. Further, the alkyl phosphate can be used as an alternative for a polyolefin wax conventionally used as release agent.</p> |
