PURPOSE:To downsize a device, using a small-sized battery, by applying boosted voltage of a storage battery to the section between the input terminals of an inverter means. CONSTITUTION:In condition that a switching element 74 is on, a current flows from a storage battery 64 to a switching element 62, a reactor 26, and a switching element 74, and energy is accumulated in the reactor 26. In case that the switching element 74 is off, the counter electromotive force generated in the reactor 26 is applied to capacitors 32 and 28 through a diode 72 and a switching element 70 so as to charge a capacitor. By such high frequency switching, the capacitors 32 and 28 are charged with boosted voltage. That is, a half bridge inverter is constituted of the capacitors 32 and 28 and the switching elements 34 and 36, and by turning on or turning off the switching elements 34 and 36, AC power is supplied to load. |
