Circuit arrangement with a DC-DC converter (9) connected via a remote feed line (11, 12) to a remote feed device (1). In order to protect the feed device and the DC-DC converter against lightning and/or a.c. interference, an unbalanced protective circuit with an overvoltage arrester circuit (3, 8) without a varistor is provided in each case at the output of the remote feed device (1) and at the input of the remotely fed DC-DC converter (9), the quenching of ignited overvoltage arresters (3, 8) being guaranteed by special rating of the remote feed current and/or DC resistance (51) of the electrical connection (12) located between the two protective circuits (3, 8). <IMAGE>
