<p>A motor-driven tool is provided for tool inserts, in particular drills or screwdriver bits, rotating about an axis (15). The tool comprises a tool head containing a drive spindle. The drive spindle has a driving opening for a drive shank (30) of the tool insert as well as catch means for axially locking the drive shank (30) in the driving opening. The catch means lock the drive shank (30) in the driving opening preferably automatically and can be released by means of a mechanism. The tool insert can be designed as a drill chuck (10).
