PURPOSE:To facilitate decoration of a butt end part by a method wherein a wood plate having grooves formed on the non-decorative side is bent at the groove parts in a manner to nip a reinforcing material by the bent wood plate to form a panel decorated on both sides. CONSTITUTION:A decorative material 3, such as a resin-impregnated polyvinyl chloride sheet, is laminated on one surface of a work plate 2 and a reinforcing material 5 formed of an aluminum, a stainless, and a plastic sheet is laminated on the other surface. Grooves 4 are formed on the non-decorative side of a portion where the wood plate 2 is intended to be bent and the wood plate is bent along the grooves 4 in a manner to nip the reinforcing material 5 internally of and by the bent wood plate to form a panel 1 wherein a joint part 6 is positioned at a corner. Thus, peeling between the reinforcing material and the wood plate hardly occurs. |
