The machine for conical mode of spiral drill sharpening is constructed in such a way that it is simple to work with. After setting the necessary parameters for sharpening a drill of a given dimension and after insertion of a drill and setting it in rotation in the free position, the oscillatory part (8) is transposed from free to operation position with the use of an oscillator's handle (14). With the same oscillator's handle (14), after removing the fixing bung (21), the sharpening is conducted by making oscillations on the left and on the right using the oscillator. Attached stereo microscope (26) with an alternating objective of total magnification of 20x and 40x respectively enables, after the drill has been inserted into the setting spindle, precise placement of the main cutting edge by the help of the threading cross in the ocular. When the sharpening has been finished, and while the drill is still being inserted, lengths of the drill's cutting edges are checked and compared with the help of the measure in the ocular of the stereo microscope (26), and further sharpening is done if necessary.
