<p>PURPOSE:To provide a vehicle end position display unit which allows easily acquiring a sense of distance between an obstacle and its virtual image. CONSTITUTION:An index 16 for recognizing the end position of a vehicle is projected toward a transmissive combiner 13 installed at the front of the driver's seat, and the combiner 13 reflects the index 16 toward the eye point E of the driver's seat 11 to create a virtual image of the index 16 in front of the vehicle; a reflecting film 19 is formed on the back side of the combiner 13 so that virtual images X1, X2 are shown overlapping each other with a longitudinal gap between them, which are the index reflected by the surface 20 of the combiner 13 and that reflected by the back side of the combiner 13.</p> |
