The system comprises a housing contg. identical isolating bodies each having an inlet and an outlet channel for liq. or gas robe analysed located at opposite ends of the body and defining a measuring chamber between them. In each body a borehole communicates with the inlet and outlet channels and extends outwardly to receive a measuring probe. The bodies are located in the housing in end to end relationship so that the outlet channel is aligned with the inlet channels of an adjacent body. A clamp urges adjacent ends of the bodies into intimate sealing contact. Used for analysis of gases or liqs. using probes which are selectively sensitive to different substances, e.g. electronic enzyme analysis of organic molecules in aq. media.
