The transformer short-circuit voltage is about equal to the nominal voltage. In order to increase the Rogowski factor, leakage yokes (5) also laminated, are provided directly before the ends of windings (1) in addition to the main yokes (4) necessary for transformer operation. They cover the winding ends including the leakage channel. These leakage yokes (5) attract the leaking flux through the winding (1) end surfaces, and are close to the main yokes (4). Induction in leakage yokes is at nominal voltage below saturation value.
