<p>PURPOSE:To make an absorbent possible to adsorb efficiently pollutants in water and odor and others in the air for a long period of time by sintering a pulverized mineral containing natural zeolite as a main component and making a porous ceramic having a specified hardness. CONSTITUTION:A pulverized mineral containing natural zeolite as a main component is added with a given amount of water, and the mixture is kneaded with a kneader. The kneaded material is then treated with a sphere making machine, etc., to mold a spherical inner layer 12. The inner layer 12 is coated with a powdery mineral containing natural zeolite as a main component by treating with the sphere making machine, etc., to form an intermediate layer 13. The intermediate layer is spayed with water, and an outer layer 14 is coated with the powdery mineral containing natural zeolite as a main component to form a three-layered structure. The product is sintered to make a porous ceramic having hardness of 2kg/particle or more, so that a three-layered adsorbent 1 is made which can be used for a long period of time with good adsorption.</p> |
