In the dental handpiece the root canal filling pin is retained by a sleeve (1), in which extends a movable plunger (10), drawing the pin into the sleeve by a spring (9). During inserting into the root canal, the pin is pressed from the sleeve by pressure on the sleeve tip (12). During forcing out of the pin, the plunger carries out a rotary movement along the longitudinal axis. A rear plunger arrester (5) has two opposite protrusions (6), moving in the inner thread (8) of the sleeve. ADVANTAGE - No contamination risk, and increased precision of insertion.
