A reflector (1) for a radiant ceiling heating system, in which a radiant pipe (2) forms a heating circuit, receiving a flowable heating medium, on ceilings or walls, comprising reflective surfaces (4) which at least partly surround the radiant pipe (2) and form a trough open in the radiating direction (3), and, where appropriate, a thermal insulation (5) arranged on that side of the reflective surfaces (4) remote from the radiant pipe (2), is constructed, to improve the heat radiation while retaining an extremely simple design, in such a way that the reflective surfaces (4) exhibit structuring (6) which enlarges the surface area and diffusely reflects thermal radiation. <IMAGE>
