Chemically superimposed arc welding

The Utility Model Claim describes a welding process which, by means of an electric ignition of a redox reaction of two or more chemically active reaction partners which are located between the abutting surfaces of the electric ignition arc, superimposes chemically exothermal fusion with electric arc fusion of the arc ignition. Here, during the main superimposed electric welding current, the interface resistance which arises in the developing welding plasma during the chemically exothermal reaction is utilised.
