PURPOSE:To obtain the subject particles useful as various labeling materials, standard particles, diagnostic carriers, etc., by copolymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated group-containing monomer with a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated group and epoxy group and dyeing the resultant fine polymer particles. CONSTITUTION:A monomer [e.g. tetramethylolmethane tetra(meth)acrylate] having an ethylenically unsaturated group is copolymerized with a monomer [e.g. glycidyl (meth)acrylate] having an ethylenically unsaturated group and epoxy group to provide fine polymer particles, which are then dyed to afford the objective fine particles. |
