The invention relates to a novel design of a ski with a ski body which with one end forms the front ski body end and with another end forms the rear ski body end, and also with at least one attachment piece which is provided on one of these ends and surrounds the ski body at this end and with an upper side lies adjacent to the upper side of the ski body or a surface there and with a lower side lies adjacent to the lower side of the ski body or a surface there and with side parts lies adjacent to the longitudinal sides of the ski body or surfaces there, and also with means for fixing the attachment piece on the ski body.
