ROCKER ASSEMBLY WITH INTERCONNECTABLE ARMS

A rocker assembly with three arms (1, 2, 3) actuated by three cams actuates two lifting valves of a cylinder of an internal combustion engine. Both outer arms (1, 3) that act on the valves may be separately coupled by bolt elements to the central arm (3). The central arm (3) has a roller (12) on which the associated cam rolls. The bolt elements of the central arms (3) are arranged coaxially to the roller (12) inside said roller. The three arms (1, 2, 3) of this rocker assembly form a pre-assembly unit together with a rocker shaft and two supporting brackets for the shaft.
