A laminated alarm pane for a window or the like comprises a pane of toughened glass 1, an interlayer 4 and a cover pane 2. The pane of toughened glass extends beyond the interlayer and cover pane along at least one edge to form a flange 5, and carries a conductor circuit with conductor elements 6 on the flange and a loop 7 at least part of which is located between the toughened glass pane and the cover pane. At least one conductor element preferably extends longitudinally along the flange to increase the probability of the conductor circuit being interrupted on fracture on the toughened glass pane. The conductor circuit may be attached to an external alarm circuit in a manner known per se.
